About Event

Objective: To recognize and celebrate organizations that have made significant contributions to the advancement of sustainable business practices through incorporating environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors in their operations and decision-making processes. The ESG Pioneer Award can serve as a catalyst for promoting sustainable business practices and recognizing corporate leadership in this area. By highlighting best practices on ESG readiness organization, the award can encourage more organizations to prioritize sustainability and create a positive impact on society and the environment.

Assessment Criteria:

The ESG Pioneer Award assessment criteria consists of items of measurements for each Core Element that constitute holistic ESG approach. Companies will be evaluated based on their organization’s policy, practices and effort in the dimensions as aligned to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for each of the element, over the scale of 100% in the categories of Excellent, Good, Average, Poor.

USM-ADRC ESG Pioneer Award Process Flow:

Announcement and awareness.
Organisations register interest and attend a briefing session by USM-ADRC ESG Team spokeperson.
Organisations submits Application.
USM-ADRC ESG Technical/Steering Committee review.
Assessment process takes place.
Assessment results tabled by USM-ADRC ESG Technical/Steering Committee.
Release of assessment results to organisation.
Successful organisations attend the ESG Pioneer Award Presentation Ceremony for successful companies.

Heeding Tan Sri Dato' Seri (Dr.) Haji Mohd Yussof Latiff's calling and inspired by his relentless pursuit of social betterment and advancement, ADRC has been formed under his guidance and advice to serve the Muhibbah family and the community at large. ADRC's primary objective is to train people with the right calibre to undertake the mammoth task of resolving social disputes, In order to achieve this, ADRC takes upon the role of training and coaching future alternative dispute resolution practitioners.
