ADRC's Vision.

To become a distinguished center for alternative dispute resolution (ADR) locally and internationally known for its excellence in providing cost-effective and timely ADR services.

About ADRC

Advance Dispute Resolution Centre (ADRC) is an independent entity, founded on the tenets of social entrepreneurship model, dedicated to advancing the interests of communities and individuals through timely, cost-efficient and private dispute resolution.

We offer mediation services for disputes which would otherwise be destined for adjudicative process. ADRC’s origins can be traced back to the movement of the Mediation Bureau, Justices of Peace (JP), state of Penang. One of ADRC’s founders, having received his mediation training by JP’s Mediation Bureau, has been actively involved in providing pro bono mediation services to the public since year 2018.

The birth of ADRC is inspired by our founders’ observation of the underprivileged groups in the society, lacking literacy adequacy and financial resources, going for the seemingly time-consuming and unaffordable court litigation, as the only avenue to resolve their conflicts.

These groups, unaware of the alternative options to resolve the disputes at hand, usually find themselves physically and financially exhausted at the end of the protracted adjudicative process.

With the best interests of society in our hearts, ADRC adopts a two-pronged aim of educating and offering high quality and cost-effective ADR services to the society at large, especially to those originating from the lower income groups.

Our center works closely with community leaders to resolve conflicts plaguing different segments of the society. ADRC’s pool of mediators consists of industry professionals who are duly qualified in providing mediation service.

We strive to ensure that only the highest quality of ADR services are rendered to the community. With our current base in Penang, Malaysia, we have set our sight on the nationwide rollout of our ARD services in the near future and we look forward to serving you.
